Multi-Commodity, Multi-Depot Inventory Routing Problem (MCMDIRP) is relevant to vendors who have to make decisions about timing of delivery, size of shipment and routing for multiple commodities from multiple manufacturing plants to warehouses in a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) scenario. We propose a Mixed Integer Linear Program (MILP) for the MCMDIRP. The model is tested on a real life case study and a set of test data sets.
