摘要：
Die ICD-Therapie hat in den letzten Jahren – insbesondere durch das Hinzukommen neuer Indikationen aus Studien zur Primärprävention des plötzlichen Herztods bei Risikopatienten – weite Verbreitung gefunden. In der Nachsorge ergeben sich dadurch nicht nur Probleme durch wiederholtes Auftreten von lebensbedrohlichen, durch den ICD effektiv therapierten Herzrhythmusstörungen, sondern auch durch Fehlfunktionen des ICD-Systems inklusive unnötiger oder inadäquater ICD-Schockabgaben.
