Criteria for the technical-economical optimum of switch-induction motor application has been analyzed. The reversible and irreversible switch-induction motors with different phase number have been analyzed using a criterion of phases simultaneous operation and analysis results are represented in the paper. Parameters of experimental samples of two-phase switch-induction motors are represented. © 2008 Allerton Press, Inc.
