摘要
An attempt is made to directly measure the density of a plasma forming in an electrical discharge initiated in a liquid. Microwave methods of plasma diagnostic are applied in investigations of such a kind for the first time. The rate of rise of the plasma density is found to be comparable to the rate of rise of the ionization by electron impact.
