Calculating the electrostatic field in the bulk of an aqueous solution

The problem of an external electric field penetrating into the bulk of an electrolyte solution is investigated. An exact solution to the problem of calculating the static electric field in a finite electrolyte volume between two galvanically isolated flat electrodes is found. Corresponding examples of applying the obtained relations are considered.
