Abstract: Using the example of testing a monocoque made of polymeric composite material (PCM), this paper considers a sequence of actions in the development of a chassis of a car of the Formula Student class from new materials. The testing procedure for new materials is considered using the example of the German regulations Formula Student Rules 2018. The results of testing samples made of PCM for a three-point bend and a break in the seatbelt attachment point are given. © 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
