Shrivelled, bleached wheat grain detected by bulk grain handlers during quality checks was submitted to AGWEST Plant Laboratories, Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia. Fusarium graminearum was detected. Further testing of the wheat grain delivered to bulk silos found other Fusarium spp. associated with the grain samples. This is the first record of F. graminearum in wheat grains in Western Australia. © Australasian Plant thology ociety 2010.
