摘要
Chemical grouting is a widely applied technique which consists of solution-based binders injected to improve hydro-mechanical parameter of soils. Several studies are available in literature which illustrated the benefit of chemical grouting when applied to specific project. However, literature studies are lacking of statistics of grouted parameters which would allow to consider and assess chemical grouting within reliability-based design process. This study illustrated some statistical insight of grouted parameters of an already published extensive laboratory program where a polyurethane and an acrylate were grouted in a tertiary sand under different water contents, relative density, with different gelling time and different grouting conditions. In this study, information of marginal distribution of grouted parameters as well as new correlations for grouted parameters prediction from soil properties are proposed. The correlations are formulated within a Bayesian framework to increase robustness of statistical inference and facilitate correlation updating when future laboratory observations will become available. Finally, proposed correlations are validated though a k-fold validation scheme which allows to quantify the genuine prediction of grouted parameters.
