摘要
The model of background electron multiplication is used for deriving the time dependence of ionization, which correctly describes experiments on initiation of a homogeneous high-voltage subnanosecond pulsed breakdown under a gas pressure on the order of ten atmospheres in a discharge gap ∼1 mm.
