摘要
The development of novel catalysts for efficient CO2 photoreduction has received considerable attention. In this work, a CsPbBr3-CdS solid-solution photocatalyst was synthesized by an improved thermal injection method, which works well as a catalyst for photocatalytic CO2 reduction when exposed to visible light. It was discovered that CdS and CsPbBr3 could combine to produce a solid-solution composite structure. Furthermore, the presence of CdS in the CsPbBr3-CdS solid-solution material substantially increased the photogenerated carrier separation ability and prolonged the carrier fluorescence lifetime. In the meanwhile, the solid-solution structure of CsPbBr3-CdS was more stable than that of pure CsPbBr3. As a result, after being exposed to visible light for 4 h, the cumulative CO yields of as-prepared CsPbBr3-CdS samples climbed to 23.37 and 18.74 μmol g−1, respectively, which are 1.7 and 1.3 times greater than that of the original CsPbBr3. This research gives inspiration for the development of solid-solution architectures to improve the charge separation efficiency and stability of halide perovskites and to broaden their applications in CO2 photoreduction.
