摘要
It is demonstrated how computer simulation can enable the assessment of the effect of microgeometrical parameters on some friction contact features. The findings of model experiments demonstrate how the distribution of the heights and radii of asperities affects the contact deformation and real contact area. The contact model reveals how the roughness parameters influence the friction coefficient and the contact conductivity. It is illustrated that computer simulation can be applied to the rating of the effect of temperature on the contact conductivity.
