On the solution of the problems of statics of toroidal shells with rigidly fixed end faces in the refined formulation

We propose an approach to the solution of the problems of stress state for toroidal shells with rigidly fixed end faces in the refined formulation. The approach is based on the methods of spline-collocation and discrete orthogonalization. We also present the data on the distributions of displacement and stress fields. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
