摘要：
Indian peninsula is facing water stress, hence require better management of water resources.Water discharge of 10 large and 11 coastal basins of Indian peninsula is re-assessed.Rainfall, storage capacity, ET and basin morphology are important controls.West-flowing rivers have potential to reduce the water stress, if re-distributed.
