摘要
The majority of all mental health disorders, including depression, emerge before the age of 24. However, many symptoms go undetected and thus untreated. Primary care nurse practitioners are well positioned to recognize high-risk situations, routinely screen for depression, and provide first-line evidence-based treatment as appropriate in their adolescent patients.
