摘要
For the first time in Austria a barbel region fish elevator has been built in Bad Blumau. The advanced system has been developed specifically for this sentient location and reviewed in a Monitoring concerning functionality. With about 4 458 fish from 25 species the result is extraordinary and unique as well as for this type of fish passage and the small stretch of water. In the Monitoring was also established that in the case of 18 out of those 25 species juvenile and adult individuals used the fish elevator. In addition the lift disposes of an exceptional system to protect young and small fish and a channelling to prevent the fish from swimming out. The transport is accomplished with a cache which is moved by a pump and a float in the elevator shaft. The combined fish elevator system represents a highly promising, area- and cost-efficient fish passage for future patency fabrications.
