Free vibration analysis of clamped-free circular cylindrical shell with end cap by receptance method

摘要：
An analysis of free vibration of cantilevered circular cylindrical shell with end cap is presented using receptance method. The natural frequencies and mode shapes of the combined system were calculated and they were compared with those of commercial finite element code, ANSYS, as well as those from vibration test. The results focused on the natural frequencies at present showed good agreement with those from ANSYS fairly well and with test results.
