摘要：
This study presents four unpublished documents from the first hefty volume of atti civili, preserved in the Historical Archive of the Hebrew Community of Pisa (Italy). The texts, from 1689 and 1690, clearly reflect the multiplicity of ritual acts that comprise the marriage between Sephardic Jews (the engagement contract, the exchange of rings, the marriage contract), as well as the economic side that nuptial unions entailed: the dowry provided by the bride's family and the contribution that the bridegroom provided.
