摘要
This article describes different measurement techniques used on an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) venturi. The main objective of this study is to assess the effect produced by the EGR venturi on the manifold flows of reciprocating internal combustion engines. An understanding of this behaviour is important for performing optimum designs for the connected pipes within the venturi. The presentation of an engine modelled and combined with facilities of steady and pulsating flow allows rigorous characterization of the behaviour of such a feature to be obtained, while taking into account the different operating conditions in which it can function.
