Magnetic excitations of bandwidth-controlled Mn perovskite (La1-x-yYy)SrxMnO3

摘要
Inelastic neutron-scattering measurements were carried out to study the spin dynamics of colossal magnetoresistance material (La1-x-yYy)SrxMnO3, where the electronic bandwidth can be controlled by the average rare-earth ionic radius, i.e., the Mn-O-Mn bond angle. The normalized spin-wave stiffness D/T-C and energy width of spin waves, Gamma, at various temperatures were measured. which are discussed in comparison with the double-exchange model.
