摘要
Pure Bi2WO6 was prepared by a molten salt method, in which molten salt supplies a liquid surrounding for rapid ion reaction at lower temperature. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emitted Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS). The photocatalytic activity of the products was evaluated by the photocatalytic decomposition of methyl orange (MO) under visible light. The results show that the reaction temperature can significantly be reduced from 900 degrees C to 350 degrees C and the response time can be shortened. In addition, Bi2WO6 also shows good stability in the experiment.
