Hydrogen transfer reduction of ketones occurs in a mixture of perfluoroalkane/isopropanol using iridium complexes in association with chiral perfluorosalen ligands. An enantioselectivity of up to 60% was obtained. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
