摘要
By investigating shopping mall buildings in Chengdu, the results show that shopping mall buildings have an average annual electricity consumption per unit area of 92.82 kWh. The consumption of lighting electricity accounted for 49.34% of the total power. After the implementation of new standards, mall buildings designed and constructed in Chengdu have lowered their power consumption by 31.93% on average annually per unit area. Although the new standards are successful in creating energy-efficient new construction, there are some options available for upgrading older, less-efficient buildings. This paper outlines several steps to lower the energy consumption of older shopping mall buildings in Chengdu.
