RESEARCH ON ECOLOGICAL MANAGEMENT OF RAINWATER GARDEN IN XI'AN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT: BASED ON ECOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE

Rainwater garden is an important measure in the planning and construction of sponge city. It can effectively prevent and control waterlogging and runoff pollution in urban landscape or residential area rainwater management. It is to give full play to the natural ecological role and optimize the allocation of water resources. Based on the in-depth study and reference of foreign sponge city construction planning, and the guidance of adequate foreign rainwater management systems and technologies, this paper achieves overall planning and extraction of the inspiration for the rainwater garden maintenance system of Mingde residential area in Xi'an, my country. According to field investigations, Comparative analysis of the various maintenance and management problems existing in the rainwater garden installations in the inner zone of the Mingdemen District, summing up the renovation measures, and proposing feasible schemes.
