摘要
The objective of this study is investigating CO2 absorption in Amine functionalized Multiwall Carbon Nanotube (NH2_MWCNT) in pure water and Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA). A dispersant was used to disperse nanofluid solutions. Results showed that at the optimum concentration of NH2_MWCNT in pure water (0.005 wt%), the absorption capacity increased up to 26.4% at the highest pressure. Additionally, the effect of nanoparticles on aqueous solution of MDEA showed that NH2_MWCNT is more efficient at 10 wt% of MDEA and absorption capacity was increased by up to 21% at the highest pressure. It can be concluded that NH2_MWCNTs lead to many advantages such as higher absorption capacity and lower heat of reaction. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
