We present the first records of Gerstaeckeria bifasciata Champion 1905 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Cryptorhynchinae) on the endemic Stenocactus obvallatus (DC.) Hill Cactaceae at Guanajuato and S. tetraxiphus Otto at Aguascalientes, Mexico and the damage they cause.
