摘要：
Strategic emerging industries have become the new engine of world economic development and the latest region of international industrial competition. In the crucial period of economic restructuring, the government of Hunan province is speeding up the development of strategic emerging industries, and tries to make them as the important tools to achieve regional economic development and upgrading of industrial structure, because it is not only consistent with the national development strategies but also the major strategic choice of Hunan Province's economic development. Based on the developing status and advantages of the strategic emerging industries in local region, the paper puts forward the basic principles and developing priorities of strategic emerging industries in Hunan province.
