摘要
A look at the state of the art woodyard process and its equipment. This paper gives a non-wood user information on the methods and equipment used to manufacture and feed high quality uniform chips to the digester. Selective equipment in the woodyard can be considered for a separate nonwood line or one that shares the equipment with wood. The chips produced by the system described in this paper are for kraft process where chip thickness is a very important factor due to liquor penetration. Presently wood and non wood is processed and cooked in separate systems. The roundwood system are designed to process pine or hardwood or both species. The systems are designed to produce chip lengths and thickness to suit different process for making pulp such as TMP (Thermal Mechanical Pulping). This paper will be presented using slides of the systems and equipment.
