摘要
As circuits become more complex and their development more dispersed, present approaches to their design will become overloaded and inefficient. One of the many solutions will be for designers to turn to the Internet and the World Wide Web. The use of Web for integrated circuit and system design will enable design engineers to work together although at scattered work sites. Companies will also be better able to bounce from design done in one location to manufacture in another. Powerful design tools like Web will be accessible on a per-use basis, and components and intellectual property will be simpler to acquire, as will a wealth of information about all facets of the design process.
