Search for lepton flavor violation process e+e- → eμ in the energy region √s=984-1060 MeV and φ → eμ decay

摘要
A search for lepton-flavor-violating process e(+)e(-) -> e mu in the energy region root s = 984-1060 MeV with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M e(+)e(-) collider is reported. The model independent 90% C. L. upper limits on the e(+)e(-) -> e mu cross section, sigma(e mu) < 8 pb, as well as on the corresponding phi -> e mu branching fraction, B(phi -> e mu) < 2 x 10(-6) have been obtained, for the polar angles 55 degrees < theta < 125 degrees of the final particles.
