As the CT screening movement continues to grow throughout the United States, it is quite possible that malpractice litigation alleging the various acts of radiologic negligence described in this article also will emerge and grow, plunging radiologists involved in CT scanning deeper and deeper into the malpractice quagmire. This article examines more closely the malpractice pitfalls presented.
