Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis Using Phase-Modulated Probe Light with σ-Type Brillouin Fiber Laser

摘要
We propose a cost-effective, microwave generator-free BOTDA system using a phase-modulated probe light with a sigma-type Brillouin fiber laser. The distributed strain measurement using the proposed BOTDA system is experimentally demonstrated.
