摘要
China is at the point of education reform. Teacher's quality plays a centre part in this reform. Foreign language teachers should have trainings and instructions on classroom mediation. Teachers who work as mentors of students are quite critical in the process of putting the concept into effect. How should teachers adjust themselves to make the learning more effective and lead students to learn autonomously? The investigation shows that teacher perceptions on mediation are inconsistent with their practices. It is sincerely hoped that this research will enlighten teachers in China to make reflections on their teaching and make a little contribution to the education reform in our country.
