Consider the Emden-Fowler sublinear dynamic equation x(Delta Delta)(t) + p(t)x(alpha)(sigma(t)) = 0, (0.1) where p is an element of C(T, R), where T is a time scale, 0 < alpha < 1, alpha is the quotient of odd positive integers. We obtain a Kamenev-type oscillation theorem for (0.1). As applications, we get that the sublinear difference equation Delta(2)x(n) + b(-1)(n)n(c)x(alpha)(n + 1) = 0, (0.2) where 0 < alpha < 1, b > 0, c > 1, is oscillatory.
