Structural and Chemical Modification of Co-Cr-Mo-Alloy Surface under YAG:Nd-Laser Irradiation

摘要
The change in physical-chemical state of surface of a dental Co-Cr-Mo alloy under pulse laser radiation of different power in air is studied in detail. The topography of surface is studied by SEM. The chemical analysis of surface is carried out by the raster Auger electron spectrometer (AES). Formation of different surface structures is revealed, in particular, there are areas with an ordered cellular structure, which consist of Cr and O only, and areas with spheroidal crystals with the size about 1 mu m.
