Historical development of anthropology and gender theories. A cultural rather than philosophical anthropology

This paper analyzes the historical evolution of the anthropology of gender from its birth to the present day. It shows how this anthropology cannot give an integral answer to the question of who the person is because the anthropology of gender exclusively bases its studies on the category of sexuality. Therefore, it cannot be considered a philosophical anthropology because it forgets the other powers and dimensions of the human being.
