摘要：

Taking creative treason in literary translation as its ontology, the transmission of cultural images, the misinterpretation in literary translation, the history of translated literature, and the history of literary translation as its objects, An Introduction to Medio Translatology written by Xie Tianzhen marks the birth of a new discipline. Medio Translatology greatly broadens the academic vision of traditional translation research, enlarges its objects and enriches its methodology, thus becoming a model of academic innovation and discipline pioneering.
