Adaptive synchronization of discrete chaotic systems

The problem of synchronizing discrete chaotic systems is considered in this paper. The input-output linearization method is first used to linearize the two discrete systems exactly, and then parameter adaptive algorithm is used to tune the disturbed parameters. By combining the two methods, the outputs of the two systems can be synchronized. Computer simulation with the Henon system showed the effectiveness of the proposed method, and on some conditions, the method presented in the paper can be extended to the high dimension discrete chaotic systems. Global stability can be obtained by the controller designed in this paper, and because of the using of adaptive algorithm, the control system is robust to the uncertain disturbance of parameters.
