Screening of new antibiotics from actinomycetes isolated from soils with the use of EHF iradiation and succesion analysis

摘要
For the selective isolation of rare actinomycetes we elaborated and used a complex method, including the treatment of soil suspension with extremely high frequency (EHF) irradiation in combination with succession analysis. This method was effective for isolation of cultures of genera Actinomadura, Microletraspora, Nonomuraea, Amycolatopsis, Pseudonocardia, Saccharopolyspora, Actinoplanes, and also for cultures of rarer genera with little species variety: Microbispora, Actinocorallia, Promicromonospora and Kibdelosporangium. The use of the complex method allow also to increase the percentage of antibiotically active cultures of rare actinomycetes. As a result of this work we found 27 strains isolated mainly from EHF irradiated soil samples that produce antibiotics active against MRSA, which are the most interesting for further investigations.
