Energy of the Magnetic Polaron in Parabolic Quantum Dot in Strong Magnetic Fields

摘要
In this paper, by using the unitary transformation and variational methed of Pekar type, the energy of the magnetic polaron in parabolic quantum dot in strong magnetic fields was studied. The magnetic polaron energies and binding energies with the relationship of the confinement strength and the magnetic Pied in both the ground state and the excited state were calculated and discussed respectively. The results indicate that the magnetic polaron energies and binding energies will increase with the increasing of the confinement strength and the cyclotron resonance frequency (magnetic fied) in both the ground state and the excited state.
