Functional reciprocity of organizational management and social work practice

Organizational management in relation to social work agency functioning is defined and discussed from the perspective of mutuality and reciprocal significance. Functional processes of management - planning, organizing, leadership and direction, implementation and decision-making, and evaluation and control - are examined individually with special reference to their impact on direct social work practice. On the basis of the foregoing analysis, conclusions supporting the original thesis are drawn.
