摘要
The article is devoted to the search for a location of single-phase ground fault in the 6-35 kV overhead distribution networks. The search methods and portable appliances for this purpose in the energy sector are shown. The article describes the principles of their work, emphasizes their advantages and disadvantages. The authors detail the steps for creating the measuring system which allows the analysis of electromagnetic field under wires of overhead distribution network. The article proves the necessity of the use of digital signal processing techniques in modern portable devices and reveals new ways of searching for a fault location. The authors present a new development - a pointer to the location of single-phase circuits, which is called Vector. It allows you to determine the presence of a single-phase earth fault automatically based on the spectral analysis of electromagnetic field of overhead power transmission line and indicate the direction of traffic with a rotating arrow on the display. The results of trial operation in the energy systems of the country conclude the article.
