Laboratory diagnostics for monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS)

In the course of laboratory diagnostics, we frequently observe monoclonal gammopathies as incidental findings during the procedures of electrophoresis of sera and extensive diagnostic of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF/serum quotient diagrams according to Reiber). If no characteristic clinical symptoms can be found, in such a case we speak of a monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS). In the enclosed publication, a genuine and two assumed incidental findings are given.
