摘要
This paper presents a modeling approach for embedding intelligent planning capability to discrete event models. Such a modeling approach is a valuable aid to the simulation of the system that requires intelligent planning functions such as motion planning of robot, production planning in manufacturing, collaborative planning on multi-agent, etc. The modeling approach has been developed based on the DEVS (Discrete EVent System Specification) formalism and AI planning system. The goal regression method of AI production system is exploited for dynamic generation of model's sequential states and selection of rules during the model execution. Thus generated states and selected rules form subgoals and an action plan, respectively. An example application to a transportation vehicle is given to show how proposed modeling approach can be applied.
