The paper discusses the design of special combination boring machine used in processing the body spindle holes of locomotive engine in accordance with the repair of engine body spindle holes of Model Beijing 12V240 engine and introduces the whole structure of machine tool and the installment of boring bar assemblage of its typical parts, guiding device, fulcrum bearing and boring bar.
