摘要
The aim of current study was to explore alterations in physical stability parameters ( viscosity, centrifugation, conductivity, pH, liquefaction, creaming, and color) and rheological analysis of water in oil (W/O) non-ionic emulsifier, cetyl dimethicone copolyol, of based cosmetic emulsions following addition of botanical extract (4% soybean seeds extract). The evaluation of physical stability was done by keeping the emulsions to storage conditions at 8 +/- 0.5 degrees C, 25 +/- 0.5 degrees C, 40 +/- 0.5 degrees C, and at 40 +/- 0.5 degrees C with 70% relative humidity (RH) for duration of three months. Organoleptic and physical properties ( color, creaming, centrifugation, liquefaction and pH) were examined at various time intervals for a period of three months. Cosmetic emulsion with botanical extract exhibited pseudoplastic behavior with declining viscosity. The results of current study demonstrate that cosmetic emulsion loaded with 4% soybean seeds extract showed excellent stability over three months study duration which represents that W/O non-ionic emulsifier cetyl dimethicone copolyol based cosmetic emulsions can be used as carrier for 4% soybean seeds extract to improve the required outcomes.
