摘要
In this study, a comparison of the performance of a coil in series with that in parallel for battery charging and the methods to improve coil coupling coefficient with regard to wireless power transfer in electric vehicles are discussed. To achieve a magnetic field sensing distance that conforms to the standard of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE J2954) and applies to the requirements of different systems, the effect of transfer distances and coupling coefficients are also investigated. In this study, we use the finite element method to simulate and analyze different coil architectures. We verify that the proposed winding coil scheme is indeed helpful to improve the power transfer performance. The results obtained can be used to assist the desired induction coil design.
