摘要
The research determines general directions of applying the distributed blockchain registry technology in the Russian energy sector management. Blockchain, as a method of modernization of the energy sector of the Russian Federation, is a subject of our research. Methodology: a comparative analysis of foreign practices of using blockchain technology and their generalization. Summary. The system of trading certificates for electricity based on blockchain technology will allow private investors to participate in the expansion of the renewable electricity market in Russia. The development of projects within this system will reduce transaction costs through decentralization, minimizing barriers to entry. The introduction of blockchain technology in the management of the Russian energy sector and the formation of a competitive environment for the emergence of new organizations in the market could make the Russian Federation a world leader not only in the production but also in the effective distribution and accounting of electricity.
