On the observability of piecewise linear systems

摘要：
We study observability in piecewise linear systems. Inspired by recent results on observability analysis in switched linear systems, we give linear- algebraic characterizations of some observability concepts, discuss differences between switched and piecewise linear systems, and conclude with a note on controllability.
