摘要:
The House of the Hens (Casa de las Gallinas) belonged to the Nasrid royalty, having the category of fortress-house and palace. For that reason, Ferdinand and Isabella acquired their properties after the conquest of Granada, adding it to the governorship of the Alhambra. From 1492 to the nineteenth century it was jealously kept by the Spanish Crown as a property of his Royal Patrimony. In spite of it, its properties were finally privatized and the site of its archaeological remains was forgotten throughout the twentieth century. The detailed analysis of graphical and textual documentation has allowed us to locate it before being completely destroyed.
