摘要
The type of original community of goods that is on the basis of a historical theory of justice is crucial for the understanding and viability of such theory. Nevertheless, Locke does not offer a clear and unambiguous explanation on this issue when treating the problem of property. In this work I try to elucidate the particular type of community that Locke has as basis of his theory of property. I will hold that, taking into account the Lockean arguments against the contractarian origin of private property as well as the Lockean requirement for the originals acquisitions, it is possible to claim that there is a certain kind of weak positive original community in Locke's natural law theory.
